CentraDoc - Features
Functionally, PSI and PDFI behave the same way.
Their job is to interpret (read) pages of PostScript/EPS or PDF/Illustrator files
and either (a) render them to full color raster output, or (b) pass the transformed
graphics and text objects to a driver. In the latter case, it is the responsibility
of this driver to do something with these objects. This driver
is usually created by clients who license CentraDoc. However, we have
the development staff to create a driver for your environment as well.
Essentially, CentraDoc hides from you all the complexities of PostScript, EPS, PDF and
Illustrator, providing you with either a fully rendered raster output or the essential
elements that are required to render a page.
